Notes: A beautiful trek following the brook through a hardwood canyon to a secluded waterfall. This trail offers a lush, green canopy and is one of the best spots in the park to experience the transition from coastal air to deep highland forest.

Notes: A beautiful multi-tiered waterfall located just a short walk from the road. The trail follows an old woods road with a gentle climb, leading to a series of cascades and a 20-foot main fall steeped in local folklore about a mysterious encounter with the Devil.

Notes: An impressive, hidden waterfall tucked deep within Gulch Brook that requires extreme wilderness navigation and steep valley scrambling to access.

Notes: A gentle walk through a lush, old-growth hardwood forest that follows a brook to a beautiful waterfall. The trailhead is located in a large meadow perfect for picnicking, offering a peaceful and cool escape under the forest canopy.

Notes: A beautiful 6-metre coastal waterfall located within Cape Breton Highlands National Park, uniquely cascading directly over sea rocks onto the sands of Black Brook Beach. The top of the falls can be safely viewed via a short spur trail off the Jack Pine loop.

Community: Hillside Boularderie

Region: Cape Breton

Notes: A tall (approx. 12-15m) roadside waterfall located near the intersection of St James Rd and Hillside Boularderie Rd. While the total distance is very short (approx. 1km return), the terrain is classified as moderate due to the extremely steep and often slippery ravine descent. There is no official maintained trail, and hikers must pick their own path down the fern-covered slopes. Ropes have been known to be present but their condition is not guaranteed. Best viewed after significant rainfall as the brook is short.
